The Ministry of Magic has been attacked by a group known as Pure Eternity. While there were no deaths, the Registry of blood and creature status was stolen, the Ministry for Magic, Senior Undersecretary and their Junior Assistant were kidnapped only to reappear days later claiming all was well. In truth, Camden McPhee (Leader of the Anti-Creature Movement; The Cremation), Percival Enigma and Grayson Tristen (members of Pure Eternity) have taken polyjuice potion to impersonate the Minister, the SU and their assistant.
Deputy Headmaster Dean Stewart and his children have also gone missing along with a slew of muggleborns, squibs and muggles who are aware of the magical world, and more are disappearing as the year comes to a close. The Auror's Office and Department of Law Enforcement are overwhelmed and will be looking into calling in help from neighbouring Ministries.
In light of dark events, Hogwarts will be hosting a Christmas Eve Ball to brighten spirits. All members of the magical community and their families are welcome to attend. Nox Nightclub in Hogsmeade will be hosting a New Years' Eve Party as well to boast spirits for the new year..
